The critical question to ask when selecting a service or equipment provider is "does this firm really know what they're doing?" One sure sign of trouble is a firm that claims to be able to do it all.

The reason we focus on Siemens MRI - and only Siemens MRI - is we're very good at it. We have five decades of Siemens experience on staff. And we don't get involved in other modalities or manufacturers because we would not be able to deliver a comparable level of service. The number one cause of failed projects is well-intentioned service companies getting in over their heads on equipment they don't understand.

We've been working on Siemens MRI systems since 1996 and two of our engineers have been involved in the field since 1986. We've done work for every major OEM handling Siemens equipment (including Siemens(1)) and almost every major equipment broker in the United States.
We have staff with experience and training in every MRI model from the GBS1 through the Espree(2) - something no other independent service company in the United States can claim. We're also one of a few elite firms with the resources to own and operate our own OEM magnet service tools(3). We use Siemens-mandated procedures and measure/warranty our work against the Siemens-specified standards. We're not Siemens, but we do work on the same level - just at a fraction of the price and with much better cooperation and ability to cope with the nuances of pre-owned equipment.
(1) We've done more than 25 projects for Siemens since 1997. (2) If a competitor makes this claim, ask for training records. Siemens does not train ISOs as a rule, and in fact won't even train us any longer. (3) We have a factory original magnet and shim toolset for the Siemens Harmony/Symphony/Sonata purchased direct from the manufacturer. We invest in this level of tools so we can bring the same level of professionalism to the job as the OEM.
